I've just committed support for grouping of photos and like some
comments on it.
Compile it with ./configure --enable-experimental
At this point it's possible to select some photos and group them. When
the group is created it should be possible to select which photo in the
group you wish to select in the group. We need to find some way to do
this...some gui suggestions for a good way of doing it. Right now the
last photo in the group is "selected" and will be shown if the group is
opened. The group works exactly like any other photos. If you are
changing settings on a group photo, it's saved to the photo, so if you
split a group or group some photos, you will always have the same
settings for the photos.
Todo:
- toggle showing of groups in iconbar on/off - this is my next step and
will probably be committed very soon
- support for burst fire grouping (photos within 1-2 seconds should be
grouped automaticly).
- some nice gui helping us to select which photo should be selected in
the group
- some nicer graphics around the group thumbnail
