We are currently working adding camera profiles, and adding a possibility to have default camera settings, and it is my single major To-do's before v2.0. I do feel that sensible defaults, and a possibility to have decent color profiles are essential, since it makes the workflow and output so much better. The easiest workaround I know, is to adjust one image, and paste the relevant settings (remember not to copy WB) onto all your shots - it is quite easy, and makes it possible to quickly develop a lot of images. That said, we will probably need quite a lot of help to create profiles when the time comes.
