Hello! The year 2009 has almost passed. In a few month we have been developing Rawstudio for 4 years.
This has been an interesting year for Rawstudio. We have implemented our new plugin architecture - and we even saw our first third party plugin. We only had one formal release all year, that's less than we would like, but we have been very busy implementing the plugin system and code cleanup in general. Another interesting thing happened in 2009. We got support for Adobe DNG Camera Profiles (DCP). We hope that other open source raw converters will follow suit. With our new plugin system a new type of exporter has surfaced in 2009. Uploaders! As of now we have a flickr uploader, and rumour has it that a Facebook image-uploader is almost done ;) A new regular contributor, Klaus Post, found his way to the project in 2009. He has written a lot of code for our filter chain and optimized a lot of code with either multithreading support, SSE code or both. In 2010 we hope to release a shiny new version 2.0 within the first few months. Thanks to the community and everybody who contributed in any way.
