I have a suggestion regarding the semantics of copy-pasting of image
settings.

Let's say that I have a number of images that I want to process in
colour and B/W, which is a very common scenario for me. First I adjust
them to my liking in colour on the A tab, which I tend to mostly do with
just curves, and then I move on to the B/W versions on the B tab. What
I'd like to be able to do is select a number of images while on the A
tab, switch to the B tab and paste with the result that image 1, tab B
gets the same settings as image 1, tab A; image 2, tab B gets the same
settings as image 2, tab A etc., as opposed to all selected images on
tab B getting the settings of image 1, tab A.

But then comes a scenario where the current semantics work perfectly. To
convert an image to B/W I desaturate it and adjust the white balance
and/or channel mixer to yield the colour conversion that I want. These
settings I then want to copy from this one image to a number of others.

This would save me a lot of switching between tabs for each individual
image. Does it sound useful to anyone else?
