Hi all,
When using the crop tool, I would like to be able to limit it to
specific form factors by holding down a modifier key.
I built the latest rawstudio trunk from SVN and need direction getting
into the source code. Can somebody point me to the right place in the
source code (ideally file and line number) where I can start hacking at
this?
After locating the crop tool, my plan is to first add a modifier key
(e.g. SHIFT) so that when it is pressed, it keeps the form factor
constant (e.g. 3:2) to a hard coded value. I hope this is a simple
enough hack that even me who has never coded GTK widgets can do it.
Once it, I will want to add an interface element to make the form-factor
a user entry. I do not have precise ideas for this second part yet.
Anybody willing to help / mentor me?
Hi Yuval
You can select between some different form factors and overlays (golden
selections, rules of thirds and such) in the toolbox (bottom) when the
crop tool is enabled...ain't that what you are looking for?
