Well, this "client mode" was mostly meant to be called from another
program, and be as transparent as possible. Maybe it would make sense
to be able to pass scaling or max size on the commandline, too.

Which other commandline options? Apart from those I implemented, I
only see the usual GTK commandline options, like --class, --name, etc,
and they seem to work for me.
