You need to install libgconf2-dev, libdbus-1-dev and libexiv2-dev to 
compile it yourself. When compiling you need -dev packages for all 
libraries it uses.

I don't have the dbus-1 package installed, so I don't think you will 
need it. Just install libdbus-1-dev (and it's dependencies) and you are 
good to go.
