This is not strictly true. The orientation sensor in my D200 works
flawlessly most of the time, but long exposures with a portrait
orientation, such as when I'm painting with light, really throws it off
its aim, and its more or less a coin toss between the correct
orientation and tilted 90 degrees clockwise. Rawstudio can reorient
pictures perfectly for me.
