Using either the "EOS 450D simple" that came with rawstudio
(SVN3251), or using no profile at all, or using dcp profiles
for the 450D from adobe, with colour management in
preferences either on or off the the ctrl-g export to gimp
results in strong red cast on all occassions. Batch export
to jpeg does not produce this effect and colours are
preserved correctly.

Not sure what else I can add.

Regards,

Francesco
