Hi!

Above and below 1, the contrast slide behaves slightly different. Above 1,
it is standard RGB-based contrast, as you would expect from any imaging
application. Below 1 to 0.5 it does highlight compression and shadow
expansion (fill light). Doing negative contrast - below 1 usually don't
bring anything to the image, IMO, so this is the reason for this
functionality.
