It appears to me that not all of the data is being shown on the histogram display. Typically (working in black/white) I find data that covers one half or less of the x-scale although I might also have a reasonable black to white scale of values in the image. When I try to expand the contrast I quickly get over-exposure and under-exposure warnings from the exposure mask. When I now place the cursor on highlights (or shadows) the indicator line is outside the shown data area. Definitely the full range of data is not being indicated. David
