Hi! As Hubert pointed out PNG doesn't officially support EXIF. We add it, but other apps might have problems reading it.
Regarding TIFF images, we have not added it until now, since exiv2 corrupts files until v0.20.0, when adding it. I have added a version check to check the exiv2 version, and add it, if the library is new enough. So if you have exiv2 version 0.20 or newer it should be added. I have an old exiv2, so if you have a new version, please check if it produces readable TIFF files.
