good to hear that you've worked out the problem. what flavor of linux
are you using? i think you probably have ufraw installed twice on your
system. what happens when you run "updatedb" and then "locate ufraw"?

No, rawstudio uses own copy of libraw. That is the reason why on one system ufraw and rawstudio haw different results.
Beside, i use ubuntu 13.10.

Uff, i already found it out. Just created dcp profile, stored it to
~/.rawstudio/profiles
and every thing works now.

Yeah,
it confirms what i already know. Generally it is working...
I can program, but this topic is sort of new for me. Right now i can't
even say what's wrong.
After some digging in to the code and rawsstudio website... looks like
adding new cam is trivial.
It is already added here, at least one mode:
http://rawstudio.org/svn/rawspeed/data/cameras.xml

but was not added here:
http://rawstudio.org/svn/rawstudio/trunk/profiles/rawstudio-cameras.xml

It wont actually fix the problem. I assume collor profile should be
added. Is it correct?
http://rawstudio.org/svn/rawstudio/trunk/profiles/simple-src/

but xml profiles wont be compiled on linux?

you may only need to get the latest version of raw studio, and you
may
need to do the same thing with ufraw. i just tried some canon raw
files
on my newest computer. i think it's running debian and everything was
fine. what other cameras do you have that produce raw files?

I use newest version compiled from source. UFRaw is fine, i need only
to correct brightness, rawstudio is not fine.

I have also nikon d40 - no problem with it.

i'm trying to remember. with an older version of
ufraw/rawstudio, my
canon raw files were displayed incorrectly, similar to what you
described. i had to adjust one of the "tools." i was thinking it
was the
channel mixer. what happens if you lower the value for green in the
channel mixer?

Yea, it is possible to configure more or less good image. I just was
wondering how to make rawstudio do it automatically. Probably i need
to extract color profiles some where.

I haven't used this mailing list before. I hope this reaches you.
What
are the settings on channel mixer, under tools?

Hi Larry,

every channel = 100.

Hello devs,

First of all, thanks for this great program and gratings from my
wife,
she lows it and prefer over UFRaw or Darktable ;)

i have access to images made by Nikon D7100, but all of
displayed
green on rawstudio (current svn version). It is ok on Ufraw or
Darktable.

Where should i start digging to make needed corrections?
Thank you
for
all suggestions.
