I am not sure why you would do this test, but it might be something that
Vipul or other developers with access to the TES might try. I don't know
how easy it is to screw up your karma, maybe there comes a point where
your reports get revoked so much that you never are trusted again. I don't
know, you don't know, and in targetting this as "the problem" you are
avoiding your own half of what you can do.

Gosh, would you?

Like I said, it's only really going to be a useful diagnostic if you can
see inside the black box that is the TES. You can't, so let the developers
worry about it. For all you know, they've already fixed it.

Now, here is what you can do:

- Notify your subscribers, as I suggested before. Each revoke that they do
should help either thwart the evil censorbots or alternately reduce the
trust rating of the person who submitted the report.

- Stop trying to make this a free speech issue. Stop using the word
censor. Your messages are not reaching their destinations, perhaps, but
that's because the owners of those networks or mailboxes have made a
choice of their own free will. As I said before, unless you can prove that
the gubmint is blocking you, it isn't censorship.

- Fix your mailing list. It has the potential for abuse. That has now been
pointed out on a mailing list which is dedicated to stopping abuse, and
which potential abusers may monitor. "Double opt-in" is a nonsense phrase;
either you have confirmed the opt-in via a confirmation process, or you
are running an opt-out list. And the latter is now accepted by the
majority of abuse fighters as being a type of unsolicited bulk email.

Please, Marc, look at the number of people on this list who are all
telling you the exact same thing. Like they say, if one man calls you an
ass you can ignore him, but if twenty do, start looking for a saddle.
