It's probably not the subject, but the body that's killing you... someone has at one point or another razored pretty much every kind of test mail there is. And sometimes, rightly so.. as spammers sometimes send test messages too.

Also you didn't specify what version of razor you are using... some of the older versions had issues with marking messages with empty mime parts as spam. That's been fixed in current releases and empty parts are ignored.

Quite frankly, I'd question the wisdom of using razor for blocking. I find the accuracy of razor to be too low to be suitable as an outright block tool. If you are going to use it as a block tool, at least set it so min_cf = 90 or higher..... At least at the higher-end of the CF range you get somewhat reasonable false-positive rates.

Hi there,

i hope this isn't a FAQ but I tried to read the mailinglist
archives for last months and I didn't find a thread on this.

My Problem is: We are using razor and razor is filtering
out all messages that contain something like "test" in
the subject.

Is this intended ? Is there an easy way to stop this behavior ?
It causes a lot of support requests here where people call us up
and say "my mail is broken"..

Maybe someone can point me to the right part of the source-code
and give me a hint how we could patch this by ourselves ??

Thanks
  Christoph
