The reason I ask is that a root users environment will not have /usr/local in its path, and will execute the copy in /usr/bin instead. A non-root user will likely execute the one in /usr/local/bin. If razor is installed in /usr/local/* and not /usr/* the root-run copy won't find it, but the non-root user will.
Even though spamd is setuiding to the user spamc, if it is started by root, it will inherit the execution path from root, which is not the same as logging in as spamc.
I'm trying to install razor with spamassassin and qmail, but it fails. Spamassassin keep saying : May 28 20:49:31 anedroide2 spamd[4952]: debug: Razor2 is not available
However if I run spamassassin manually (spamassassin -D < sample-spam.txt) it works, and detect both DNS and razor2 :/
