I am running Red Hat 9.0 and when I tried to do perl -MCPAN -e shell This is after I went through the configuration it now give me this error after loggin in:
Undefined value assigned to typeglob at (eval 13) line 15, line 11. Warning [/etc/inputrc line 11]: Invalid variable `mark-symlinked-directories' cpan shell -- CPAN exploration and modules installation (v1.61) ReadLine support enabled I have searched all over and can not find out what is wrong. Also if I try to install a program from CPAN or download the tar ball and install it when it is a perl app I also get this error (this is trying to install Digest-MD5): Makefile:82: *** missing separator. Stop. Any help on these would be appreciated.. If there is more info you need please just ask..
