On the plus side, you'll help catch spam faster. On the negative side, if some spammer with bad intentions (hmm, is there another kind?) finds some troll addresses and decides to subscribe them to a legitimate mailing list, poof goes the mail from that list. In fact, someone who wanted to attack a mailing list might subscribe a large number of web-reaped addresses to it. One might argue that non-double-opt-in lists deserve what they get, but still... It's a judgement call.
