Hello,
I'm using spamassassin 2.63 and razor 2.36 (sarge debian package) so i'm very suprised to see than all spam mails detected with spamassassin was not with razor and when i use line command with razor-check for same mails , razor doesn't detect nothing (tested with 10 mails)
Do you know where is my problem ?
Many thanx for your help and sorry for my bad english.
In his thread on April 15th with the subject "Razor Agents and Future" Vipul acknowledged poor detection ratios on the standard razor client.
Unfortunately sourceforge's archive of the list hadn't yet picked up any of April's postings as of yesterday, so I can't give a web-link to the post.
However, to quote a few key sentences from Vipul's post:
"I am aware that Razor Agents are not very effective at this point."
"The balance of how much and what resources we spend on Razor Agents has been hard to find, and it's fair to say the project has suffered from neglect, but now we are in a much better place to reconsider our position. Over the next few weeks we are going to figure out a strategy to provide better filtration through Razor Agents. I will update the list when this happens."
(any lack of context errors are mine, however I feel these short clips get across the most important parts of Vipul's message.)
In other words, you're facing a known problem, and one that Cloudmark is hoping to address in the near future.
