Still getting a little over 5% false positives. Latest bunch I looked through included:

gov.au
vatican.va
democracyforamerica.com

org.nz and yahoo.com seems to have settled down for the time being, but that may just be a function of the particular message lengths we're seeing?

I don't know enough about the voting algorithm to know whether to expect this situation to settle down. I'm guessing though that when it comes to high level domains like gov.au or org.nz, there's a whole lot more spam traps out there than the number of people who issue revokes can keep up with.

As the sysadmin of a news web site, I'm also concerned about the likelihood of links to our site winding up in material reported as spam. There's all sorts of zealots out there who like to link to news stories which offer some sort of support for the position they push on people. How strong are the safeguards?

Andrew,

Can you give me some examples? 5% sounds way too high.

We also discovered a bug in the backend implementation of Whiplash
that affects a small percentage of Whiplash signatures and can
potentially cause FPs. Again, example FPs would be helpful to
determine if you are affected by this bug.

cheers,
Vipul

I've used razor for a long time, both directly and via spamassassin, and it has worked well for me, up until recently when it has started showing too many false positives - around 5% of incoming mail. This has happened since I upgraded to razor-agents version 2.61.

It appears that this relates to the new url checking features, and has
already been discussed a little on this list. I'm not sure though
whether others are seeing as much of a problem as I am, or whether any
fixes are in progress, or what's expected as revoke commands are issued.

Our incoming mail consists mostly of political mailing list material.
I'm seeing false positives on urls from groups.yahoo.com, greenpeace,
New Zealand politcal parties and others.
