Can't open filename: No such file or directory

filename is definitely in the directory where i run the command, so what does
that error mean?

doing a little testing, it looks like razor for some reason does a chdir / prior to trying to open the file unless you specify the -f parameter.

If you pass an absolute path (i.e. /home/mkettler/spamfile) it works, but if you pass a relative path (ie: spamfile) it does not.

As Mike Burger suggested, redirection is another option.
