Matt,
Following your recommendation I followed the INSTALL instructions and had CSPAN make these modules to latest versions
Net::Ping Net::DNS Time::HiRes Digest::SHA1 Getopt::Long File::Copy Digest::Nilsimsa URI::Escape
I especially did a clean and get with Digest::SHA1 before doing the make.
I then redid the build but got this message:
[www:~/Desktop/razor-agents-2.61] root# perl Makefile.PL
Warning: prerequisite Digest::SHA1 0 not found. <------------ still missing????
Writing Makefile for Razor2::Preproc::deHTMLxs
Writing Makefile for razor-agents
[www:~/Desktop/razor-agents-2.61] root# <------------- abort???
In the INSTALL it mentions I need to set an environment variable PER5LIB:
setenv PERL5LIB /home/user/myperl/lib
but that directory doesn't exist on my system. I'm unsure how to proceed from here.
FYI: I'm reconfiguring the Mail Server on my Mac OS X Server 10.3.5 to filter viruses and SPAM using Virex, SpanAssassin, and Razor by following a set of extremely well written tutorial and instructions at http://www.andre-aulich.de/mailserveren1.html
