I installed razor with SA and exim on a Debian Testing box. As well as i dont allow all outgoing connection as as well as I guess razor has to connect to internet to update or check a database, I would like to know if I should allow some kind of outgoing traffic.
What would it be ?
As per the FAQ http://razor.sourceforge.net/docs/doc.php?type=text&name=FAQ
TCP connections to the razor servers on port 7 and port 2703. There are no "back connections" (ie: you don't need to allow the razor servers to connect in on either of those ports, just continue sessions originated by your box)
Also, razor does DNS queries to find the razor servers using standard resolver mechanisms (ie: resolv.conf), so the box should be able to resolve DNS.
The razor servers are subject to IP changes, but right now all seem to be in cloudmark's 66.151.150.0/26 block.
Other blocks in cloudmark's name under arin whois: 64.95.143.168/29 66.151.149.32/27
These three are also in cloudmark's name, and in the same city, but are more recently registered and are at a different street address (newer address? branch office?)
64.95.143.64/29
66.151.128.160/27
63.80.128.192/26
