Elio here. I helped together with Anxhelo to drive the new logo and style guide
decision forward.
Some time ago Holger reached out to add some new print color swatches to the
style guide. We think that after a year, the style guide might benefit from
some more updates, as we gathered more experience working with other projects
such as SecureDrop: https://uracreative.github.io/securedrop-styleguide/
including more web components and better support to use the style guide with
JavaScript disabled, still allowing users to copy code snippets of components
right from the style guide.
In order to keep the style guide fresh and relevant, we wanted to do exactly
these updates and any others you might deem important, such as new assets,
print files and similar. This work of ours could be supported by OTF's
Usability Lab, similar to the initial work done last year.
Feedback and wishlists are welcome as we hope to start the actual updates next
month in February.
