hi,

Hey,

we would like to ask you, the dear Reproducible Builds community,
if you are aware of any conflicting events or other reasons why
we should *not* hold the next Reproducible Builds Summit in Vienna.

The dates we have choosen are Tuesday, October 28th 2025 until
Thursday, October 30th, followed by three days of hacking until
Sunday, November 1st.

Does that conflict with anything else relevant?

We (Arch Linux) have our yearly "Arch Summit" happening in Hamburg on November 1st / 2nd week-end (Saturday / Sunday). Unfortunately, I'm afraid moving the date is not an option on our end for this year.

It "only" collides with the "hacking" days though, but I know some people from our staff would probably like to attend the Reproducible Builds Summit as well (e.g. myself, if I have the chance to 😄), so still worth mentioning I guess.

Also, please don't book your travel yet. These dates are not final
until hopefully the end of May 2025 (or early June) when we plan
to finally announce this.
