There is a way. You have to enable "multi-select" in the list view.
Be aware that you will to change the variable that you use to capture the
"multi".
Not in front of R:Base right now and can't tell you where it is, but I have
done it before and it works great!

Subject: [RBASE-L] - variable lookup list mult select groups

Is there a way to select a group of items in a variable lookup list other
than clicking on one at a time?

It would be nice to be able to select the first one and then hold down the
shift on the last one I need to select a range but cannot find a setting for
it.

TIA
