All:
New to Forms Variable Links. So far, I am unsuccessful in getting DBEdit
controls to display the font assigned to the ParentFont property with
the variable defined in the On Before Design and On After Start EEPs.
(1) Variable defined:
SET VAR vlink_dbe_parentFont TEXT = NULL
SET VAR vlink_dbe_parentFont = 'Courier New'
(2) Property defined in DBEdit Variable Links Editor
ParentFont | vlink_dbe_parentFont
(3) Running the form displays R:BASE' default Arial 8 font in the
control.
(4) SHOW VAR v% at the R:Prompt confirms variable value: Courier New
Note, that the DBEdit control(s) in question are located within a
Scrolling Region within an Enhanced Panel on the Form.
I'm missing a step, surely. Appreciate your thoughts.
