Tip of the Day: Auto Scroll List View Control Selections into View
Product.......: R:BASE X.5 and R:BASE X.5 Enterprise (Version 10.5)
Build.........: 10.5.3.11008 or higher
Sections......: Forms
Keywords......: List View, PROPERTY, Selected, Scroll

Did you know there is an added property for form list view controls to
automatically scroll the current selection into view?

The new SHOWSELECTEDITEM property for Variable Lookup List View and DB
Lookup List View controls specifies to automatically scroll the current
selection into view.

PROPERTY CustEditListView SHOWSELECTEDITEM 'TRUE'

For application use, the above command is used after the RECALC VARIABLES
command.

The result is that a highlighted row, well beyond the visible borders of
the list view, is automatically scrolled to and displayed!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
