Maybe this is what you are looking for:

See Load Command

BIT, BITNOTE, LONG VARBIT, LONG VARCHAR, VARBIT, and VARCHAR

['filename.ext'] or ['filename.ext', filetype, offset, length] Note: When you use VARCHAR, the filetype is always TXT. When you use VARBIT, BIT, and BITNOTE, filetype refers to the standard graphical file types.

I am placing a variable image on a report and need it to display from the file defined in a variable.

I would like to define a variable in a report/label that pulls the image from a folder/file. I forgot the syntax on how to achieve it.

Variable name: vimage

Expression: ‘c:\partpic.jpg’

If I remember correctly, it had | somewhere in it to say pull from folder/path

Does anyone know how to achieve this?

TIA
