I'm a novice with RBase & my colleague is a longterm pro. But here's the problem we're having.
My colleague sends me an RBase database. I download it and open it in RBase -no problem. I can see all of the contents of the database in RBase just fine. Then, I update/replace a .xlsx file in the database outside of RBase (in Windows Explorer). Then, I re-open the database in RBase - no problem. The problem starts when I try to run an Application that pulls data from the new .xlsx file. I get the attached error message. Then, when I go back to Browse to see my database, it suddenly has a lock symbol on it. I can open the files, but the lock symbol wasn't there until after I tried to run the Application. Given that the error mentions it might be locked -- it seems like a related issue. I've tried making sure that the files/folders in Windows Explorer have the proper security authorizations. But nothing seems to be working. Welcome any help or ideas!
