I have tried it with both Closewindow and Closewindow alias...
However the Return isn't next after the command, I open a new instance of the form after the command. Is this the problem?

CLOSEWINDOW formname in an EEP will close the "alias" form name, when used as MDI.
Also make sure to use RETURN after using the CLOSEWINDOW command in an EEP.
