Mike,
I run Rbase (7.1) over terminal services (version 2000 however) and have no problems. Since you state that the system worked fine for some time and then started acting strange, something certainly has changed. (Stating the obvious)
I would start with the scratch settings and your profiles. If you have set your scratch files to be on the database path, all should be OK. However if you set
scratch files to be on a particular drive/path, that path may not be set up properly
for all users under the terminal services profiles. This may have been changed at some point, so I would check that out. It could definitely cause some issues.
On the desktops that do not work, check the Advanced Options in the remote desktop. Look at the Local Resources and Experience tabs and insure they are the same as on the ones that do work OK. (Again, I use 2000 not 2003 but assume they are similar)
I am not aware of any other settings with terminal services that would effect Rbase other than read/write access. Hope this helps.
