Victor, Following up on Ben's message. Make sure that IDQUOTES is set to "`" (that's usually the character below the tilde '~' in the upper left hand key of the standard american keyboard. Under Rbase w/o considering ODBC, that error would indicate a missing quote or paren. I *think* ODBC requires single quotes. So if you're character settings has quotes quotes as double it may be confusing things.
