The first question to ask yourself is "WHAT HAS CHANGED?" Nothing is what usually comes to mind but by digging deep enough you can usually find that SOMETHING did indeed change and therein lies the culprit. Can the users print from NotePad? Can you copy a file to the printer from the DOS CMD prompt? If neither of these is a problem then it at least rules out Windows as the culprit. If these also fail then look at the Control Panel, Printers, and try to print test pages. Good luck. Ron

It's an old version but all went well until earlier this week when both users can no longer print reports. The reports can (optionally) be redirected to the screen, but they no longer print. We've tried different default printers, local and network. We've preplaced the OUTPUT PRINTER parameter with OUTPUT LPT1 and OUTPUT network_printer_device, but to no avail. Other applications on both workstations have no printer problem. What has gone wrong??? --- Dan Adams
