Bill,
Variable expressions, with the computation done in the detail section.
examples below
1 : TEXT : D : frinvno = invoiceno
2 : TEXT : D : PCPrevtech = prevtech from chistory whe invno = invoiceno
3 : CURRENCY : D : CHCharge = Charge from Chistory whe invno = invoiceno
4 : CURRENCY : D : ChChargeSum1 = (ChChargeSum1 + CHCharge)
5 : CURRENCY : D : PCAccSum = (pcAccsum + PCAccrued)
6 : CURRENCY : D : vpcmaacc = FRnclsa in frhistory whe invno = invoiceno
7 : CURRENCY : D : PCReal = (.vpcmaacc + .chcharge)
8 : CURRENCY : D : PCRealSum = (PCRealSum + .PcReal)
9 : INTEGER : D : PCCount = (PCCount +1)
10 : CURRENCY : D : PCRealAVG = (BRND(PCRealSum / PCCount,8,.01))
11 : CURRENCY : D : ChChargeSum2 = (ChChargeSum2 + CHCharge)
12 : CURRENCY : D : PCAccSum1 = (pcAccsum1 + PCreal)
13 : CURRENCY : D : vpcmaaccsum = (vpcmaaccsum + vpcmaacc)
14 : CURRENCY : D : vpcNCL = frncl in frhistory whe invno =
invoiceno and invno in (select invoiceno from procomptable where
invoiceno = .frinvno and pccalltype cont "RC")
15 : CURRENCY : D : vpcncle = frncle in frhistory whe invno =
invoiceno and invno in (select invoiceno from procomptable where

Dan,
That's exactly one solution I have used: a summary version, the same
report, but deleting the "detail" section. How did you calculate or
generate your sub-totals and totals? With DBCalc objects, or with
variable expressions, or with math in header or footer eeps?

Hi all,
I think the other list isn't working. So I will ask here.
I have a nice report that gives me my monthly sales with each
invoice showing in the detail section of the report. Breaks based
on salesmen, Totals of each sales are in the break section, and a
report total in the report footer.
I would like to have a summary report that doesn'tt show the
details, just the break totals and report totals. I made a copy
of the report and tried making the detail section not VISISBLE, but
the data isn't parsed and therefore my totals are all blank.
How do others accomplish what I am after?
Thanks for your time.
