Javier, Generally, when you are restricted to do anything with "other" databases, you have to find a swift solution to work with your existing version of R:BASE. Under such circumstances, you have at least two options: Take your time and create a one-time script to alias each column as you wish. Remember, you only have to do this once. OR Use R:BASE Turbo V-8 that handles long column and table names accordingly. http://www.rbase.com/rbg8/ http://www.rbase.com/rbg8/rbaseforeveryone.jpg (R:BASE for Everyone!) You pick the best option that meets your needs! Very Best R:egards, Razzak.
