Fred,

If it becomes an economic issue, that sale may still be on for 7.6 (very
attractive pricing)

But otherwise...I have never been sorry using v8, and the non-indexed
lookups are lightning fast. In the future, if you need to ODBC to
Oracle, SQL server, etc, it will handle this with long column names and
bignum datatypes.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Wow! I coulda had a V-8.

Hi all,

I am converting a modest (15MB) database from 2.11 to Windows. Should I
make the leap to Turbo V-8 or settle for 7.6? I hardly approach the
capabilities of 7.6, but I'm greedy enough to want MORE! What's the
sensible solution?

Thanks,

Fred
