Would you by chance have some program opened that has the office clipboard?
Sometimes, when using the Data Dictionary and I have outlook or word open with the office clipboard shown the value gets pasted to the office clipboard instead of the R>. I haven't been able to find a pattern for the behavior. It just seems very random. However, when I close that program everything goes back to working as normal.
