Thanks Razzak and Jeff.

The customer is a small (1 administrator) non-profit organization for which R:Mail 2.6 was perfectly suited and priced. 3.0 is for Corporate/Enterprise server installations and priced at $1,295. Unfortunately, it's out of the question for this customer and possibly many other small offices.

Are there any plans for an equivalent of R:Mail 2.6 that supports SSL and TLS? I submitted it and the response was SSL was already incorporated in 3.0.

I don't think it's TLS, Jeff. ISP's tech support said they use SSL. Thanks anyway.

Best R:egards,
Doug

A customer is emailing newsletters from R:Base using R:Mail

I couldn't find anything in the R:Mail 2.6 configuration panel
for setting up SSL. Am I looking in the right place? Does 2.6
support SSL? Thanks much. Doug Hamilton

Doug,

R:Mail 3.0, officially released on October 4, 2007, is the tool
you need to incorporate such feature in your application(s).
