My thanks to all who offered ideas on my problem with 6.1a accessing forms and 
reports. It's another reminder of things on line backup programs CAN'T do for 
you.  I had a hard drive crash but had all important data backed up using the 
Carbonite on line backup system.  It restored it all. I did NOT ask it to 
backup/restore Windows programs but DID ask it to do old DOS based programs 
like this one.  

Mistake:  I'm not sure why, but this was the problem.  When I removed 6.1a and 
used my CD to reinstall the software, all went well.  I'm back up and running 
with 6.1a.
