Pre-define the variable RBTI_FORM_COLNAME as TEXT.

Then just place it somewhere on the form. As the users tab thru or click
into various fields, its value will change.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Anyone else want an enhancement?

One of my DOS clients who's converting slowly over to 7.x misses one thing
about the old DOS forms. They liked the DOS setting where you saw the
column names at the bottom of the form. He asked me first thing if I could
do this in the new version. I told him that I could go into the properties
of each field and put a hint in there with the column name. But this has 2
problems: (1) it would interfere with a "real" hint that I might want in
there, and (2) it could take a while to put a hint on every field!

I'm thinking that if others felt it would be helpful that perhaps there
could be a form-wide checkbox to "Set column names as hints" (not sure what
would happen if you have another hint in a field). Or if a form-wide check
doesn't work, then maybe a checkbox on the properties tab of each field so
you don't have to type the name in the hint field (I'm lazy).

Or if anyone else has another idea for doing this ...
