I am sorry that I cannot be of much more assistance. I am pretty sure that
the duplex function of printing is handled entirely by the printer driver and
printer, not the originating software. The driver will
simply send commands to the printer to print on both sides of the paper until
the print job is completed. Once a new print job enters the queue, then it
should start on it's own page. Settings such as print last page first,
collate, book binding etc, are all the printer driver settings. As a
programmer, what one has to be sure to do in software, is if using one PRINT
statement to print several seperate reports such as invoices, that the form
feed (Start on New Page) is handled properly. Otherwise I am fairly certain the
balance is in the printer driver.
Are you using any type of OPTIONS such as DUPLEX with your print statement?
If so, as a test, try removing the option, print to screen and then print from
the screen preview. Set the duplex option via the printer driver preferences
tab. See if it makes any difference.

We have two HP printers that have a feature that allows you to print the last
page first so that the final document will be in the right order when you take
it from the paper tray. On our printers, if go into Printing Preferences under
the Layout tab, there is a check for "Start printing from last page". If this
box is checked, the last page will print first. If not checked, the first page
will print first. Hope this helps.
