Thanks...I resorted to using the views (with the LinkCol) and using bit buttons for handling the add/edit/del rather the dbnavigator. Didn't take too long and seems to work well.

If you have more than one table in the view it is not editable. On the other hand, you may be doing my stupid and trying to edit while in the form designer. I must admit that I am using temp tables rather than views, as mentioned below.
