Myrna -

Here are a couple of ideas:

1. the report could have become corrupted somehow - you could delete it
from your live database; export it from a backup copy of the database and
import it to the live database

2. run a RELOAD on the database and see if that fixes it - it could be that
your indices on the table are corrupted

3. can you print the report for ANY set of data? Or does the message occur
with EVERY set of data?

4. this error message also occurred in version 6.5 when there was something
out of balance - like a missing end-quote, or an unbalanced set of
parentheses or something like that. So if options 1 & 2 above don't resolve
your problem, I'd break down the command file that runs this into small
steps and see if you can isolate the problem.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: Alter table in 6.5++

I have a report, built from a view, that suddenly stopped printing. I get
an error message that says "RBG65.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to

close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I can print other reports without a problem. I can open the view and see
the information that is supposed to print on the report & I can look at the
report in report design.

Any ideas?

Thank You
