Mike, Thank you!
The problem was me and my brain freeze! Just because It was not listed in the help I did the ASSUME! The var .vDocument was misspelled in the write command! WRITE .vdoucment TO .vdocfilename WRITE .vdocument TO .vdocfilename (works fine) Dyslexic! LOL Did not even notice until I tested it a different way! Thank all of you for the help! Even when it was my own error! I apologize for wasting your valuable time today on something like this! Thank you again! The list is always a great help! Best Regards, Oma Cox O.C. Services Inc. P.O. These are valid: {literal filename} WRITE .vSomeDoc to SomeFileName.EXT {as a VarBit Variable} WRITE .vSomeDoc to .vSomeVarBitVariable {even as inderection operator} WRITE .vSomeDoc to &vSomeVarBitVariable ----- Original Message ----- From: "MikeB" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "RBASE-L Mailing List" <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, June 28, 2008 1:56 PM Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: Storage of External file in data base > Oma, depending on your document type.
