You're welcome. I should say that I always use temporary file names generated by R:Base (FILENAME(0)) for files like this. Those files get created in the SCRATCH directory and, assuming you clean this periodically or let Windows do it (if you send scratch files to the temp directory) then you don't need to worry about cleaning them up immediately. -- Larry
