How are you importing the data?
Importing MS Excel Workbook using the Import Wizard or a command
at the R> prompt or command file?
FWIW, when importing an Excel Workbook (dependent on the MS Excel
OLE Server), you have to make sure that you have identified the
exact tab page number of the Excel Workbook.
On the other hand, what results do you get when saving the same
workbook as worksheet and then importing the data using the
R:BASE Gateway.
