A few suggestions:
01. Make sure to turn off any anti-virus program.
02. Verify the MD5 Checksum value provided with each update.
03. When applying the update, make sure that all relevant
R:BASE sessions are closed.
04. Last but not least, you may always re-download the file
and re-apply the update, if deemed necessary.
