I am using an external form for a background, and have been for some months now. I have noticed that as I open and close my various forms, some other applications' screens (Word, etc.) appear between my background form (.rff) and other RBase forms. This gets to be confusing for users. Any ideas on how to eliminate this? I am using Rbase 7.6.4.30728, but this issue has been there for some time.
Ted, Actually, this is not an issue. It all depends on what exactly you are trying to do and how the underlying database driven forms are launched and displayed on the top of External Forms. You may need to explore the form properties of all underlying forms. For a better understanding and the correct method of displaying database driven forms, take a look at the entire application and all related External Form Files as well as underlying DBs included with 2008 SAT Sample Application. 2008 SAT Sample Applications: http://www.rupdates.com/sat2008 The entire application includes the following external forms that manage over 60 applications and more ... 7.6: .
