Only heads up with respect to Amtrak - - NEVER take it if your arrival is time sensitive. Last time my inbound train was like 8 hours late . . . returning home, well I enjoyed an extra night in Chicago.

But then good old Tom mentioned that he might take Amtrak there, which he has done before, so I investigated it too. It would cost about $130 round trip from Chicago. For sure that's alot cheaper than gas in the car! And he says the Amtrak station is within 1/2 mile of the hotel. Haven't made my reservations yet but I'm thinking about it. It's worth checking into if you're not sure how you will get there this year... Karen
